anti theft wheel bolts

anyone know where the i.d. number for the anti theft wheel bolts unlocking socket is. trying to find it to keep a record of it just in case i lose it.

Just a thought -- Is it stamped into the "anti theft bit" that you use to undo the wheels??

Maybe a 4 digt number ?

can't see anything on there just a single digit on the end of it.

If it's the McGard-type security bolts, then I think the pattern is identified either by a 3-digit number, or a single letter - is it a letter that's stamped on the adapter? If so, that's all you need to identify it, AFAIK.

The standard anti theft bolts have only 12 differs, so the single digit is most likely the version you have, mine was 6, have replaced them with McGard bolts as they are more secure

I'll probably be getting some McGards for mine at some point. I wouldn't like to have the Vancouvers stolen!
