i thought all the scams had been covered, then found this to save fuel. if you fitted every fuel saving device on ebay, your car would actually make petrol, which you could sell to make money..

I can see the way it works but leaning the mixture will make the cat shut down and on OBDII cars the second sensor will pick this up and bring on the MIL.

It is like those ridiculous valves that bleed air into the engine to break up the fuel droplets, the way they save fuel is actually by just introducing an air leak which you could do with a 1-mm drill but on any car with a lambda sensor it will just correct for the leak to maintain lambda 1.

My answer with all these devices is that car manufacturers really do have their backs to the wall over fuel consumption and if any of these ideas worked, they would be factory fitted.

I bought ten of them and connected them in tandem. My car (a Vauxhall Nova 1.2 with a 10" exhaust and Woolworths Supercharger) now does 376.9mpg and still does 0-60 in 1.7 secs, just as the vendor promised!

An efficient way of saving petrol is to fix a large spike in the middle of the steering wheel and another (smaller) one on the accelerator - then drive in bare feet!
