Just had my A6 2.7T in for it's CT (French MoT), they've told me my front brake pipes are showing signs of corrosion and the bushes on the front stabiliser bar are worn and need replacing (these aren't failures here - just suggestions ).

Big job or not? I'd rather tackle it before relying on a local garage. Cheers for any advice

if its the solid metal brake pipes, you need to remove them and get new ones made up by someone with a suitable flaring tool, using cuprinol pipe. dont use the cheaper plain copper pipe. then bend them to shape, tighten up and bleed, probably using vagcom.
