hi guys, owned my audi a4 1.9tdi 52 model now for a few weeks now well pleased with her, just had new timing belt on and waterpump, oil, oil filter ,airfilter and fuel filter, last week, the mechanic had to put in new antifreeze and temp gauge hasnt worked right since, but that is not only the problem, coming home from work today and car went into limp mode, looked in the owners hand book to see what symbols were flashing and it was esp and heater plug symbol,so i turned it off as there were no gas pedal and waited for my partner to come,he sat in car started it up and it was perfect no limp mode or nothing, made me look a right tw!t,and it hasnt done it since, but i have a mechanic coming out monday morning to put his laptop on it to see what went wrong, any idea guys,i want to go out shopping but dont trust the car cos knowing my luck it will happen again on me.

Go and give the car a good thrash to see if it happens again.
Switching the ign.offf and back on will reset the limp mode.
