    Default Audi A4 air con reference mode – 11-11-2009,09:02 PM
    Hi.
    First post on here but have been looking around and the heating system seems to be a common issue on the A4.
    Mine is a '98 avant 1.9tdi but doesn't blow hot air so am guessing either the heater matrix or actuator are faulty.
    Anyway, the manual states that the air con must be put into a 'reference' mode before removal. Does anyone know if it is possible to do myself or do I really have to take it to Audi?
    Would be very grateful for some help with this.
