I have a bit of a vibration issue coming from the near side front of my S4. It dose not come through the steering but is quite defiant at about 65mph. There is no reduction if I am running strait and level or with some load on the steering on bends.

I have just had the wheel balance done, but no luck. I also had all 4 tyres changed at the same time so it is not uneven wear.

There is no noticeable judder on the brakes.

There is no grinding on full lock turning circuses either way co possibly not CV joints?

When I dip the clutch it is still there so it is in the drive line somewhere any thought on where to look next.

I can not afford a main dealer spending hours looking for the fault and then switching expensive parts in a process of elimination! Mr Audi Main Dealer, once bitten ect.

    Any suggestions received with thanks

Could be a few things. Raise the car and hold the front wheels at 10 to 2 position and rock back and forth. Should be solid with no lateral play. Could be worn track-rod ends or a wheel bearing on the way out. Also a few suspension components (upper arms) or the link that connects to the anti-roll bar.
