    Just been reading this thread in the Audi section;
    https://www.vwaudiforum.co.uk/forum/s...ad.php?t=69276

    Is there anything similiar for the mk6? I'm sure turning off the seatbelts will be do-able. What about the rev counter/speedo sweep?

    Look, some clever chap has found out how to activate the Tyre Pressure Monitor System;

    To activate this option on your car is necessary to use VCSD to modify:

    [03 - ABS Brakes]
    [Security Access - 16]
    [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 1

    Bit 3 - Tire Pressure Monitoring (PR-7K6) active (1 = active)
    .................................................. .........................................
    [56 - Radio]
    [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 8

    Bit 6 - TPMS Settings active
    .................................................. .........................................
    [17 - Instruments]
    [Coding - 07] -> Long Coding Helper -> Byte 4

    Bit 0 - Tire Pressure Monitoring (TPMS) installed (1 = active)

    Anyone with a mk6 gonna try it?

    I was under the impression that the tyre pressure monitoring systems used the ABS sensors; where the ABS detects that a wheel is turning less/more times than the others it assumes a difference in psi, and therefore flashes the warning?

    Good idea to make this a sticky thread.

    If someone with the software is willing to try and see what possibilities there are, I'd really like to know if the number of flashes with the lane change indicator 'nudge' can be increased to four or five as I find three not enough.

    Cheers,
    Dunc.

    I think that 5 flashes would be ideal for myself. 3 flashes is patently insufficient.

    3 is more than enough for me after nearly being in a collision because of it this morning.
    Driving along a 2 laned road on the outside and used the comfort indicator to come into the inside lane. A car that was just ahead of me waiting to come on to the road I was on, obviously thought I was indicating to turn into the road he was sitting in (albeit I was a good distance away). He started to come out and then realised my indicator had stopped and just gave me a growl as I passed him.

    5 flashes and he would definitely have come out!!

    Are you serious? It's not disabling a safety device, it's disabling a stupid little light and beep that reminds you you're not wearing your seat belt.

    Christ, what happens when you get into an old car and there are no buzzers or lights?
