You can download the VAG Com Software and use it on your laptop but I can't tell you where from.

I agree with you — four would be better.

Tried to adjust it with VAG-COM (on my MKVI) but it stayed on three.

It does keep clicking whilst you hold the lever in position, tho'.

    I do my best

Just so we're clear any discussion of illegally obtaining software, especially software made by a company who freely support our site and the entire VAG community, will not be tolerated.

[QUOTE=DaveB666;436071the ABS detects that a wheel is turning less/more times than the others it assumes a difference in psi, and therefore flashes the warning?[/QUOTE]

I may be missing something here but how would one wheel on a car turn less/more than others, apart from the steering wheel and the spare

A tyre that has lost some of its pressure would have a smaller rolling radius than the others and this would be detected the ABS generator on that wheel - well, something like that, as I don't presume to be an expert in these matters.

With my Lexus the TPMS is a wireless transmitter part of the valve stem. For example If I took my spare tire out(it has TPMS) and drove off with it not being near the car the light would come on.
