    Well,
it was "that time of year" again for "Stanley", my 2001 bora, today.
He was booked in at 8.30 am, and we arrived a little late at 8.35(that doesn't sound much, but i DETEST BEING LATE, it's very, very rude in my book).
    anyway,
after a friendly chat with Fred,we left him in his care, and fred would ring in an hour approx.
Sure enough, the call came in to say he had failed on a front suspension bush
and the fact that my plastic, real metal chrome surround for the rear number plate was loose.
fred could get the bush within a few hours,(we can't expect indys to carry stock
for everything),and would i like him to go ahead with an extra cost of £50.
the answer was yes,he thanked me for that, and apologised for the extra time needed!!!!
ten mins past three pm,he was on the phone,my car was ready for collection,
    repairs done,12mths mot+suspension bush replacement,
    total price,----£89.48p
upon collection their was no cost attributed to fastening the rear number plate,
although it had been drilled and new bolts fitted.
We bought the car from this garage three years ago.
they gave us a very good trade in for our astra estate, against the bora and we have had him mot'd there twice now.
i cannot stress how happy we are with the service we have received from this independant.
i am in no way connected to this place,( other than buying a car off them)
    but i thank, and would recommend, S. M. C. STANLEY, CO.DURHAM
to anyone for repairs to at least,vw--audi--and that other german stuff,
    mwb or something.
    their tel no. is 01207-283326.
once again, THANK YOU FOR,what i consider,BRILLIANT SERVICE.
    regards,
    stewy.
