    Ladys / Gents,

Just got the Mrs a 52 plate Golf V5 auto - it's got 34K miles (full history - 1 owner) beautifull drive etc but when when in drive with foot on the break pedal there's a slight shake to the car like it's missing or something - Only seems to be in drive gear with brake pressed. Anyone have any ideas to what this can be?

Vibration/clanking at idle can be down to a broken DMF (Dual Mass Flywheel) which goes away when the clutch pedal is depressed, which is a bit tricky with yours, being an auto :-)
