    Default vw code p1248 – 09-10-2009,03:15 AM
    my 2002 jetta tdi has code p1248, ive read that its either the ip, the n108 solenoid on the ip, the needle lift sensor on injector 3, or the wiring to the two. the engine is louder than normal ( like timing is off ) when i shut off ign. it runs great until fault code, then in limp type mode , sometimes it randomly works normal even after cel is on. so its sproadic. if it were the n108 or the g80 needle lift sensor, wouldn't those codes show up? Also the ip wouldnt be sporadically functional would it? any help would be greatly appreciated.
