Tyre advice for Caravelle T4

Hi, Anyone offer any advice.

I need to replace some tyres on my Caravelle 2.5TDI and I am trying to find out if they need to be commercial type rather than standard Radial tyres.
One of the existing four has a C stamped on the side of the tyre and looking up on car bible web site, it suggested this type of tyres are for light truck use.

Anyone got a view or comment ?

The Caravelle has similar loading to the T4 commercial van - personally I would make sure that the tyres had the same (or more) load rating than that stated on the vehicle data plate.

Thanks Brian, I had confirmation from my local VW dealer what the wheel and tyre size should be and that they are marked with a C, which refers to commercial. These tyres have extra reinforcing due the the additional load they have to carry.
