Injector loom recall?

Does anyone know if there is a common fault or a recall on the short loom under the rocker cover on an A4 1.9tdi?,im supsecting mine is faulty,
there is a misfire in 4th/5th gear under load at motorway speeds,

No recall but a very common problem and the loom is usually kept in stock at all dealers and TPS depots. Start by having a code read carried out.

Quite easy, just remove the cam cover - I have changed hundreds. Transverse engine installations are a pain due to the EGR valve but on a longitudinal engine installation like the A4 the most awkward part is getting the old harness out of the head against the bulkhead without it shattering and filling the engine with bits of broken plastic. I always use a hot air blower to warm a new one so it is more flexible feeding it into the head hole.
