    Default 2.5 v6 tdi avant suspension... – 03-09-2009,03:59 PM
    hi. i have an audi a4 that has done 177k now. and on full(ish) lock the suspension makes a rubbing sound like a ticking noise when i am moving. its rubbing against sumfin as when i accelerate it gets faster. i am planning on updating the suspension in the near future but i am just wondering if it actually is the suspension or not and if you guys have any idea what it could be? it doesnt sound healthy though and would love to be able to sort it. any help or direction would be great. steve.

    have you checked your tyres for any signs of where it is rubbing

    it isnt rubbing on my tyre,thesound is like a stick rubbin on someone spokes on a bike. i have been told it could possibly be the drive shafts?
