    Is that sarcasm?
My car is well looked after and well maintained also. Regularly serviced and cleaned from top to toe. And it certainly didn't cost next to nothing which is why I'm so upset. This is my savings all of them gone into this car. Because this is the car I always wanted. So you can see why I'm so upset that I'm not getting anywhere. All I'm trying to get is some advice and pointers on here. I'm not looking for opinions that aren't going to help me

I'm a mechanic of 35 years on VAG and I get tired of people criticising garages without cause, how do you expect them to dig out a hidden fault without driving the car? Certainly you are illustrating a well known lesson, you should not spend all your budget on a used car, nearly every used car has an issue, that is why they are being sold, so it makes sense to keep some funds back for the inevitable.

I understand your point. However when the shoe is on the other foot you have to understand that when buying a car with 9k miles and only 2 years old you do not expect to have mechanical issues.

Even brand new cars can have issues. If it is under 3 years old and dealer serviced, it is still under warranty.
