For the first time since I've ever lived in the house my garage does'nt have a "project" in various states of repair.

Does this then mean I can go out and buy another one?

Damn right! What are you waiting for!? I wish I had the space for another project!

What would you go for though? That's the question.

Yes do it you would be mad not to.

I'm totally jealous as she who must be obeyed made me sell my last project 6 years ago and i'm desperate for another. I must wait for another 2 years until we move then it will be hello project lets weld.

Still in the no too distant future my 16 year old son will be buying his first car and then it will be DAD HELP PLEASE. Bring it on!!!!
If it ain't broke leave it alone!!!

In that case you must guide him in the direction of a real shed, so you get your project, and swmbo will be happy too, as your son will have a good run-around!
    Sorted.

This is the dilema i'm having, I've also got to weigh up that I have a 40 year old vehicle, a 15 year old vehicle, a 12 year old vehicle and a 10 year old one to boot which will need bits and bobs doing

I'm tempted by one of these though:

Wow, I commend your integrity! I have a 38 year old air-cooled VW and that takes up so much free time (and money).

I like the look of that! It's got a similar body shape to the Karmann Ghia, which I'm a big fan of. Excuse my ignorance, but what is it?

    Which VW? Beetle?

My Series II land rover is a bit of a nightmare when it does break, but it's had MOST stuff now replaced or repaired.

The car above is an Austin Healey

1971 Type 2 Camper. I drove it into work this morning. I just love being behind the wheel.

Same as mine, it's had nearly every panel replaced as well as nearly every mechanical part too! It's almost a new vehicle in reality! It needs the clutch doing again though as the release bearing is giving a nice whirring noise... Easy job though in comparison to modern cars!

Ah, I see. I'm not big on British car knowledge

    Good luck anyway!
