    VW you thieving robbing gits!!!!!

    LUK flywheel for a 2.0TDI in March 09 £225 now July 09 £425.........why

    How can they put the price up by that much...i'm so bloody angry.....trouble is my cars in bits and i'm stuck now......must go and lie down


    BTW thats part prices...nothing to do with dealers

    that is quite bad,probably cottoned on to that now quite a few are getting out of warranty so they wont have to pay that

    hi,
    i have just had mine done by vw and charged that go to eurocarparts and you get the flywheel and clutch for that price

    I managed to get a price of £360 but thats about it...oh well thanks for the advice, just annoyed that it never goes down when i need a part

    mine cost around 400 over a year ago. At the time I had to find out which part it was, as it could have been a £225 flywheel.

    I think they quoted you the wrong part the first time.

    No I have the part number I was quoted on, That number has been superseded by the a new part number with the price increase, maybe they use gold in them now. Its costing £545 before vat and labour!!! thats for the flywheel and clutch plate.

    Well the new flywheel and clutch plate has been fitted and no more noise after 30+ miles...great now need to save some money after draining allot of cash...'The joys of motoring'
