    Default Powered Tailgate – 16-07-2009,04:10 PM
    Does anyone know if the powered tailgate can be fitted by the dealer?
    Am I correct in assuming that with a powered tailgate the height it opens to can be preset?

    Any help would be appreciated,

    My experience is either they will say they can't do it, or charge you well over the odds for it.

    Options like this and B&O, it's easier to tick the box when ordering.

    I've no idea about retro-fitting however the height you set yourself.

    I guess this is so that it works for people who open theres in their garage. My garage is very tight on space. An S-line lets me open the tailgate fully. A standard car means it hits the roof!!

    Gone : 09 A4 Avant, B6 S4, TT, Golf GTi...and the rest are embarassing!
