HI everyone im pleased and honoured i bought myself a fine Golf mk2 off a close friend recently and everything is perfect the only niggle i have is the rev counter. being used to a rev counter with my previous cars im quite used to them and was wondering whether it is possible to fit a gti speedo or other mk2 model clocks that have a rev counter? or is it better to just forget about it and live without one?
    thanks

hi, i had the same thing with my mk2 driver, i had a clock instead of a rev counter. I bought a set of clocks with a rev counter from a Mk2 Golf GL and all i had to do was plug it in. All the wiring is already there. As far as i know GTI clocks won't be as easy to fit, if at all, as they have electronic mpg display ect and the connections are different. make sure the clocks you get has the same connections as your original ones.

I also took out the speedo from my original clocks and swapped them over so i had original milage.
