    They're a bit optimistic with that price. It's fully loaded (except leather), but anyone who pays £27K for a Golf GTI over an Audi S3 is a lunatic!

    VW prices are so daft at the moment, they'll be dearer than Audi soon.

    If you play the car configurator game on VW's website you can get a GTI to north of £33,000.

    That's just plain wrong. I mean really!

    That said, Ford are putting another 4% on their prices to make a total of 12.5% so far this year...
