I pick up a new mountain bike today and need to purchase a rack for my B8 saloon. The best my local audi dealer can do is £200. Anyone know the best place to pick up the bars and bike fitting for one bike from? Needs to be of decent quality of course

BTW, still love the car after 40,000 trouble free miles.

    Many Thanks.

    Try:

    www.roofbox.co.uk

A great selection of bike racks and bars from decent manufacturers.

    Hi,
I carry MTB, sometimes 2, by dropping the back seat. Wheels off and they both fit (Whyte 46 and Scott) no problem. Obviously some compromises, like zero passengers in the back. I cover the floor with a protective cloth and have yet to cause any marks/damage. Just a thought

yes i think you could be onto something here! I just picked it up and took the front wheel off......rest went in no problem. I was worried that being a 21" frame I would struggle. I may still get a rack, but no so urgent now. Thanks for the comments.
