Retrofit Cruise Control

Good evening all,

Had a cruise control unit fitted today to my 55 2.0tdi sport, local VW quoted me £550, I called an outfit a mate of mine had used to install the cruise control unit in his A4. Must admit these guys were fantastic, very professional and the total price to supply and fit was £215 which is not bad at all. They replaced all the stalks and I now have nicer stalks that feel miles better. The unit works a treat so pretty chuffed. I am planning a trip to Portugal in August and the cruise control unit will pay for itself then I think. Not sure if it is appropriate to mention the name of the outfit as I do not wish to break any rules, so running the risk of breaking them the name of the outfit is Hazzydayz.
Just thought it would be helpfull for anyone considering retrofitting cruise to their passats.

It might be appropriate to mention who or where your local VW is so others can avoid them. My VW dealer did the job for my 06 Sport for £155 about a year ago. I'm well pleased and glad you are too with your outcome.

City Gate Colindale was the dealer that quoted me £550.
