Only once it is Production confirmed then you can not change your order I am afraid. Up until that point sometimes you can amend orders

Sorry that was me.I thought you were talking about a Confirmed order and you could not change it. As Confirmed order and Production confirmed are two different thing

I was told that mine was being built in the first week of MY2010 cars that week 22 was stated.

I found out today whilst dicussing final price with the sales manager (the boss of the sales controller who's the boss of the sales exec) that it's simply not been ordered. I'm going to see them tomorrow as long as work doesn't go on all day.

Once the final agreement had been reached I'll be posting up the result. The dealer will either get good PR for keeping a long term customer happy or I'll be warning people about how I've been treated. The choice is obviously theirs. Until then I'll bite my tongue.

Sorry to hear, obviously a huge difference b/w giving you wk 22 production and telling you on Week 22 that it is not even ordered. Hopefully for you they will step up and fix this in a very good way.

BTW any experience in delaying delivery to wait for 59 on the board? My car is supposedly wk 23, assuming it is correct given the update was yesterday so something dramatic has to happen for it to be incorrect few days from production. Probably put the car at the dealer v early July. I am away Early july to mid August so tempted just to get it on 59 plates...

The only advantage is the 59 plate which come resale will add up to around £500 oh and so far the dealer aren't playing ball.

It looks like I may have to seek Audi UK's opinion.

I've been onto the dealer today and they said that there was a delay, but it was with the shipping of the cars. He said that they have put plans in place and that they will start to catch up. The delays was a few weeks ago.

I also asked about the S Line cars coming without chrome trims and he said he'd not heard of any issues. He said if they got one without the chrome tips then they would order some tips or a new back box...

Get the exhaust comment in writing. I don't believe Audi have a proper solution so if you have that in writing you'll be able to go and get a Milltek....unless he goes back on his word!

I wonder if a non-sline exhaust from a 2.0T will fit on an S-line

I will check this out tomorrow with the leasing company. If they are now catching up my original date of receipt of w/c 22nd June may be back on .

I guess with it being a lease car rather than a personal purchase I will have little power on the exhaust tip issue. Just a case of fingers crossed until it arrives.

what can you do with your old exhaust system if you have it replaced by a milltek one?
ive no chance of getting one if it means I'll have a complete B8 exhaust system sitting in the kitchen.

can you kinda part ex it with milltek???
