    Hi all
    I have just fitted a oil pressure gauge and wondered if any of you know what the oil pressure should be at tick over? on a 19tdi 130 highline,just want to make sure its all working ok, also now I have took the old sensor out it is beeping at me and telling me to stop, how can I stop this now I have done away with the sensor

    you need the sensor in as well as th new gauge to stop the alarm.

    The oil pressure should be around 1bar on idle,engine warm.You need an adapter to fit the switch.But to check if the gauge is working,you can run the wire to the switch to earth.

    cool thanks people, My pressure is sitting at about 30psi so around 2 bar at tickover on a warm engine, I got a t joiner in the end and now have both connected. I was supprised how high the pressure is on a cold engine
