    Default Glove-Box – 29-03-2007,07:42 PM
    I need to remove the glove-box on my 2004 Passat to hide some wires.

    I hear this is a "nightmare" job.

    Does anyone have any advice or tips they would like to share...?

    Hello,

    Took mine out the other day (wasn't closing, a lever inside had become dislodged) there are 7 screws, size 20 hex head, 3 across the top, 2 on the sides and 2 underneath.
    Be careful with the light on the LHS, unclip the cable from the socket and out it comes. 10 min job.

    Cheers Nick, I'll give it a bash at the weekend.

    BTW - Anyone any ideas why my "image" is not being attached to my posts..? Just uploaded it and it isn't shown..!! (it is under 64k as well!)
