A4 B8 -Oil usage???

I plan to purchase an Audi A4 B8 Petrol, late 2009 early 2010.
Should I expect minimal oil consumption or should I stock up similar to my greedy Golf Gti 2007.

Hope not...

I bought a 1Ltr bottle of oil when I got my new 05 gti, 4yrs later i've just put it in the garage having not opened it...
I checked the oil regular, but it didn't need it.
Just an oil change every year.

I've done about 3500 miles and used a litre already! I need to go get some more!!

1.8tfsi very carefully run in. Have done 12500 miles and have just put 0.5l in to refill to max.

Today my display told me to top up 1L of oil.
7700 miles

2.0TFSI

The oil level display on the MMI tells me nothing, but I think this has been discussed elsewhere.
