hi all ive started to lose hydrylic pressure on my touran to the point you press the pedal half way down before you feel any thing and the clutch bite is at the very bottom now.this morning i have removed the slave cylindr and the spring in there has all plastic melted to it one end looks very warn.

is the slave cylinder fed its oil through the brake reservior aswell.?

also how do i remove the clip of the cylinder?

    thanks in advance guys

Hi my clutch bite is also very low on the pedal and i to am assuming the clutch master cylinder is fed from the brake reservoir. As the reservoir is full i can only assume that my clutch is about ready to be replaced as i still have good pressure there.

Did you have to remove much to remove the clutch master cylinder?

Sorry there's no new info for you.
