    Hi all.
    Just bought an 06 19tdi a3 se.
    Love it.
3dr in black with cruise control, sat nav, 6cd head unit with Bose speakers
    and RED leather.

Have not quite sussed out how the sat nav and cruise control works,
    but i'll learn in time.

I have a few Q's if you all can help.

Want to retro fit a set of genuine fogs.
    Is it easy.
What all parts do i need.

Car has sat nav that comes up on the OBC in between the speedo + rev counter.
Can i upgrade it to the big screen one that sits in the centre console.
    Again.
    Is it easy.
    What parts do i need.

If i fit the upgraded sat nav.
will it play dvd movies or can it be upgraded to do so.

Dunno what BHP this car is.
It's nippy (compared to my old 323ci coupe beemer)
How can i find out what BHP it is.

Thanks in advance to those that will be able to help

I can't answer your retrofit questions but the engine power of your car will be around 105BHP according to Wikipedia.

Yes, the fog lights can be retro fitted, see the following threads:-

    http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthr...ght=fog+lights

    and

    http://www.audi-sport.net/vb/showthr...&highlight=fog

for starters. Use the search facility and you may get more info.

With regards to the sat nav, do you currently have the single din or the double din RNS-E. The new RNS-e can be retro fitted but costs and time will depend on what you already have. You cannot, as far as I'm aware, retro fit the new AMI versions although a new version is in the MY10 A3 being rleased soon.

The RNS-E system will not itself play DVD's but you can buy an adapter and TV module/DVD player to watch films/TV on the screen. Gets a bit expensive though!

So the cheepest bet on the fogs is to go to a breakers and get all of him.
Would have thought it would have been pre wired. (cheepskates)

My sat nav works via a controll unit beside the handbrake and all display comes up in the OBC between the speedo + rev counter.
My stero is a double din that takes 6 cd's and ha a tape deck in it.

Thanks for your help so far.
