Hi have any one retrofited auto dimming side mirrors?
I just retrofited the rear mirror inside and there are two cabels that should runt to each side mirror but I dont find any part number of the auto dimming side mirrors?

Does anyone know the part number or on what audi car the side mirrors are dimming? Then I could search the part from that car.

    Thx

oh. I have a Audi A3 8P so it should be a audi whit the same mirrors I think from 2003-2008 are the side mirrors the same.

I have an A4 (b6) with autodimming wing mirrors.
If you have the rear mirror you just need to run the wires and add the autodimming glass.
    These are VERY EXPENSIVE........

Yes I read that I should only run a wire out to the wing mirrors from the rear mirror and will get autodimming on the sides. Thats why I wont to buy the side mirrors, how much is VERY EXPENSIVE? I am thinking about 100-150 Euro for one mirror.

But the way are you satisfied whit the autodimming wing mirrors?

And do you have any part number of the mirror?

    thx

I have retro-fitted them to an A4 and A6. The mirrors cost around £320 for the pair. Well worth the effort IMO.

Yes I also think they are worth the money, they make a big difference when driving in darkness for long time. Do you have a part number "Issac Hunt"?

And It should be the same mirror-glass for A4, A6 and also A3, i think. Was it the same to both A4 and A6?

A4 and A6 were the same, not sure abou the A3 though. I know the facelift A3 has different shape mirrors. I just got the numbers from a friends copy of ETKA and double checked them with my dealer. I havent got them to hand though I'm afraid.
