is the key visible, and is the boot fully closed, or on the first latch???. the easiest way is to get a rod in to hit the unlock button.

oh, uh oh. erm, call rac. they should be able to get you in, but they may have to go in through a window. i once helped a passat owner who had done the same thing. we removed a rear lamp with a hammer and drill.

I did this on my old A4 Avant- pressed the boot open button put the keys on the boot mat forgot about them and slammed the tailgate and the doors all locked!

RAC can get into the car using coat hanger and an electric shock technique he wasn't allowed to explain, but as the guy said to me Audi's are probably the hardest cars to break into and steal which I like the sound of.

Just an update incase anyone does this in the future. RAC came tried to use a lock jiggler thing but didint work. Then he put 2 wedges in at the top of the door then opened the gap larger with 2 mini airbag things then used a grabber stick to pull back seats foward and retrieve keys from the boot........very clever!!!

I did the same thing 2 years ago also don't ask how. RAC go into the car in 10 minutes no damage. I'm sure they employ ex-car thief's

You can call the RAC if your car is under 3 years FOC if it has been serviced via a main dealer.

Good Luck if not already sorted
