Order Times...

Ok...

Here goes...

I've confirmed the order with the dealer for a A4 Quattro 2.0T Sline with a few options and he should be putting the order in with Audi UK on Wednesday, can you guys let me know what the form is with regards to the order process and when should the dealer get intouch to confirm the stages of build etc.
I'm told this week is week 16 and the MY10 starts on week 22.
Other than that I'm in the dark.

The dealer gets you to sign the form and takes your desposit.

He promises to contact you when the cars shipping and this gives you a week or so to prepare.

Around 6 - 8 weeks later the call comes.

The car turns up ..... and then you find they've ****** up the build and you have to start again.

Not really the answer I was looking for....

I'm thinking build week 22/23 with me ordering it this week. MY10 ordered plus two weeks to get here and PDI'd ready for collection..

i ordered 10th of march delivery 22nd june.

SE Exec Avant ordered 20th Feb, anticipated delivery date 23rd April, so about a 8.5 weeks wait.

There's a 99% chance it will be an 09. 10's attract a small price increase and since you won't have paid it then they'll only let you have it if they run out of 09 slots. Since you ordered 5 weeks or so ago then I can't see you getting a 10....but at least you saved a bit of dosh.

Ordered mine on the 6th Feb. It was built in build week 14. Been told it is on boat now.Boat docks at Grimsby then car to Ellesmere Port dealer. I should get it about a week or so from now but will ask them to hold car to 1st May for delivery.
