    Hello,

I am considering getting an 08 1.9 TDI SE JETTA.
Given that I will be driving it mostly on secondary / rough roads, would you recommend I DO NOT go for the Bluemotion version, given that it has sports/lower suspensions which may give a very hard ride?

Another thing, do you have to upgrade to the multifunction steering wheel in order to have the radio controls on the steering wheel?

    Thank you

I would go for the 2.0TDI Sport.

I have had mine for the past 10 months and its great.

Average 53mpg, run the car on Shell V power diesel 104.9 per litre and the last fill cost £55 but had a return of 536 miles. Granted that 80% of my driving is on the motorway but sits very nicely at 80+ on the motorway.
Only joking as I would never ever break the speed limit .

I would advise anyone to get a Jetta as they are great value for money compared to the same spec Golf/Passat.

I would personnal go for the 6 speed 2.0tdi rather than the 5 speed 1.9. VW garages have a few bargain Jettas sitting on their forcourts at present.
