Will your 17" TT Trapeze alloys fit a 2003 Passat Wagon? I am looking to buy some from a guy and wanted to be sure the offset will work. Any ideas?

Hey there, short answer is I really don't know for sure!
I was thinkin about putting them onto my wife's Passat 2004 which has 15" alloys at present....I'm almost 100% sure they'd fit, but advise checking first

Really good guide. Just going back to the paint, do Wurth do different shades or is it a case that they manufacture one shade that suits VAG?

Just kerbed my rear in this arctic weather that were having and want to sort it out.

Not sure what 'design' my alloys are (anyone know their name?) but picture attached - Anyone know if the Wurth paint would be a good match for these?

    Cheers.

I'm not 100% sure is the honest answer. The only thing I can say is that they look identical to my alloys in colour and mine was a perfect match

Dredgey ,your alloys are 9 spoke RS4, some may refer to them as ' ur' rs4 the 'ur' simply meaning 'original', as these differ in style to the rs4 rims on b7 rs4's

An old post about to be given some life.

I recently did a refurb job on a set of alloys and I'm with Jim, really worth spending some time on. Unfortunately I just did it off my own back without reading any guides online so I used Simmonz paint which I'm sure wasn't the best paint to use, if I ever do it again I'll be looking out for the Wurth stuff.

Also take the time to fill twice, something I learned from doing it as the chances are there is going to be parts that need filled.

    Excellent guide though Jim, thanks.

Hope that helps Nigel.....if there's anything else you need please feel free to either pm me or email me anytime.

I'm kinda torn whether or not to do the wheels on my wifes Passat....The car looks great but from the wheels could do with a little refurb. Problem is I know from past experience I'll do it and she'll curb them in a week or month or two

Lookin forward to the write up and pics Nigel
