Good luck with the future Lemonslap! Glad to hear you got another job. You have provided great advice on here so its a shame to see you are leaving the Passat. Good luck with everything though

It's good to read your news Lemonslap. Good luck with your new job.

And you never know, you might grow to love the Saab....

I'm sure we'd all love to hear your thoughts on it (well I would anyway!). I had it on my list when I bought the Passat.

Imo, Lemonslap was being just a little light-hearted in his comments, as personally I think he is entitled to be if he's just got another job.

I'm guessing he would probably agree with your thoughts though.

I didnt mean for my comment to come accross in a negative way, i just meant given the current job climate and the high number of unemployed in the UK he was very lucky to practically walk straight into another job.

    Hi Lemonslap,

all the best with the new Job. That's what's most important in the current situation.

I thought passat being a traditional company car, should be easy to get. It may be an option for your to switch if there are others Passat sitting idle in the pool cars. For instance at my work place there are plenty of unassigned passats hanging around, so its kind of difficult to avoid em.

Also SAAB may not be as bad as the bad press it gets (volvo woud ve been better). Even if its owned by GM, its still a swedish car (So in theory should ve better build quality).

Let us know your experience with it.
