    Default Manifold Pressure Sensor !!! – 10-03-2009,03:40 PM
    About 4 weeks ago on my way home. the epc and exhaust emmissions lights came on. Switched the car of and back on and the epc light went out though the exhaust emmisions light stayed on. About a day later, the exhaust light went out. No fault codes stored.
    Last nite on the way home, same story epc and exhaust lights came on. Took the car to the mechanics today and got her plugged in.
    Fault came back as "Manifold Pressure Sensor Intermittant Fault".
    Have been told that it is safe to drive on and see if the lights come back on.
    If they do, I will have to get her plugged in again.
    Worst case scenario is £250 to put right, though I am not sure what he will be doing for that amount of money ? Please help !!!
    PS; The car is a 2001 1.6 16v Golf S with 55,000mls AZD.
