    Hi All

I own a DTM A4 2005 and would like it so that when i actually press the unlock button on my remote, that the doors actually unlock!

Or if you dont get my point, the two button press thing really drives me bananas. Who would ever want to only open the drivers door?!?

My original soft coding is 06911. Anyone got a soft coding for a UK B7 A4 that changes it to one button press for all doors?

I have tried some other soft codes, they work - but make other things not work, such as the DIS shows the left door open when the right door is open.. so must be a US code.

    Thanks.
    Steven

According to this page, you subtract 4 from your softcoding, of course YMMV

At the risk of quoting a "friend of a friend", it did happen to one of my Mum's colleagues who unlocked her car in a car park and a bloke got in the passenger side and asked her for a lift. He did realise his mistake and get out again when she screamed at him, but it did scare her.

That's why the security feature is there to only unlock the driver's door and fuel cap on the first button push.

I quite like that feature. I also like the auto lock on speed which I activated the other day.

Anyone who has been car jacked by someone hiding down the side of the car and jumping in as you get in, not nice apparently.

Ok - Points noted to all.

I have actually thanked the door lock at speed feature as I had some drunk moron attack me and try to open the driver's door.. while I was just sitting idle near to a pub.

I drive off - then went to reverse over the guy! Im glad he didn't get to open the door though..
