Spoke to the dealer today (Derby Audi), you see I need my car earlier for various reasons and asked how the build programme in general is progressing.

He suggested that orders are being built earlier than expected.

From placement of my order it was booked in for a 7/8 week build time the suggestion now is this will be no more than 5 weeks.

If your wanting your car earlier, call the dealer.

Interesting.I ordered mine on the 5th February.Just spoke to Dealer and we are in Build Week 9 now.Mine provisionally booked for Build Week 14.Will get a set date in about a week.No talk of earlier build slots at the moment with my car.

they may have taken a car that was already built and awaiting shipping to the UK?

ordered mine on 13th January, was told it had to be a factory order delivery is 11th of March.. It's like Christmas again
