....so who on here is waiting for their 09 plate car to arrive. I cannot believe it was 6 months ago that I was having sleepless nights waiting for mine to turn up.

I guess we will need another "picture" thread of those 09 plates........

Mine is in the country and will be with the dealer early next week, the car will be PDI'd and I am having someone detail the car before I collect it on Sunday (they are opening especially), already chosen my registration plate.

The dealer Truro Audi also say they I can loan a R8 for a day in the summer

As my first post id like to say hello and my A4 Sline was delivered on Monday 09 plate

Currently enoying my 09 (collected on Sunday), running it in arround the lake district, driven today in snow with no real issues and feel it looseing up and get quicker as the miles roll on (just over 600 since Sunday).
On a 400 mile drive getting up here sat mainly at 80ish on the motorway and then a 60 mile drive through the lanes averaged just over 40mpg so pretty chuffed so far.

How are you running it in, are you sticking to a certain rpm?

Just using some common sense and advice from the manual, making sure it gets warm before I move off, and stir through the gearbox to keep the load light on the engine, dont think I have been above 3000 rpm yet. Can definately feel it loosening and feeling quicker also milage, already improving, also sounding quieter should be at 1000 miles by the weekend so see how it goes then.

From other threads you do not see full potential in either peformance and fuel economy until upto 8000 miles.

I dont know if it's the pressence that the LED DRL's give but kep finding people pulling over in the lanes for me to overtake, where i'm just happy to take it steady and enjoy the views.

Hi there, ordered an A4 Avant S-Line a few days back, but I`ve gotta wait until June for my current company car to go back. I don`t think I`ll manage to wait that long
