My new A4 B8 2.0TFSI is equiped with an electronic oil level indicator in the MMI device. Good thing.
But - after filling up just half a liter of oil, the device does not work anymore. There is no more picture indicating the actual oil level, but it is saying that actually there are no informations available about oil level...
Is there anybody who knows this problem an who has a good solution ?
    Thank You !

The oil level display is intended solely for information purposes. An oil level warning will appear in the instrument cluster if the oil level is too low.
If the bonnet has been opened, the current oil level will be shown in the instrument cluster the next time the ignition is switched on

when you top up with oil the display reads 'no information available' until you've done some mileage (never really noticed how many you need to do) then the level will be displayed again if you select it via the mmi menu or as A8 has said if you just open the bonnet it displays the oil level in the drivers display between the speedo and rev counter next time you switch on the ignition

this message will happen every time you add oil - its normal
