does my audi a4 have a bose system

2001 is the year that Audi became CAN BUS on the electronics systems at the head unit, so as long as the unit you install is from between 2001-2005 (approx) you shouldnt have a problem.

Not 100% certain if you will need re-coding to the vehicle, there are more people on this site with experience and knowledge on that side of the subject who should be able to advise your further.

Hi peeps, i have a a4 2005 and believe to have BOSE factory fitted but i don`t have the badges on the speaker covers either.

Does anyone know where i could purchase the badges from as i`ve looked everywhere to no avail. i`ve seen Decals but they are horribly tacky.

Any feedback would be much appreciated.

RT, do you have the service schedule available to you? On the inside front cover will be a series of 3 letter codes, if you input them into this then you will find out what options you have, if Bose sound system is listed then you have the optional system, if its not you don't.

I have a factory Bose subwoofer in the back of the A6, but its still not the "optional" package.

Your best bet for finding Bose badges is to contact e-bayers that are scrapping A4s and asking for the badges from the door card.

I've 9 (maybe 10) BOSE badges you can have for a small fee to cover postage if you want them? I got them as I intended to retrofit BOSE but ended up changing cars instead.

No its not mine! I used to have an A4 before moving up to an A6. I've still got most of the BOSE bits kicking around the shed somewhere!

It looked like a pretty easy upgrade but time/weather conspired against me getting it done, then I bought a new car instead!

That thing caught my eye on e-bay. So much of the stuff is there, I wish I had the extra money to spend on the car, mind you its getting new CV boots in a few days.

I assume you made sure Bose was a factory fit on your new car?
