I have an A3 53 plate with a bulb out, Drivers side dipped light. I can open the inspection hatch, but only about an inch. There is s metal pipe in the way!! Do you have to undo any screws and slide it forward?

I got someone at my local Halfords to do it, he replaced the front pair for £2.50. He had smaller fingers than mine, and it was cold outside, but he didn't mind, thats what Halfords offer he said,
to replace the headlamps for you for a small charge.
If you are having problems I suggest you go to your Halfords, provided you haven't already bought the bulbs...

its really fiddly to do. My dad use to work on A3's as a technician for them, says its a pain in the ***. You also gotta be careful not to drop the bulb in the unit! Best of taken it to halfords or quick fit or something. Who will be happy to do it for a few quid. (halfords prob better as they change them all the time. )
