I have done several searches but can not find any guide to lifting the rear passenger side carpet to get to the sound proofing. It is very wet and we are haveing trouble getting at it. can anyone give me a clue if the plastic pops up or where the carpet lifts to get a hairdryer in there.

    Many Thanks Tom

The only real way to deal with this is side trims pulled off and seats out. That's why it costs a fortune at a dealer. Most of the water will be under the carpet as you have probably guessed.

I'm not sure it will dry out but it might if left long enough. Can't remember any wires. The front seat area is usually the problem.

There is wiring running from the CCM under the front passenger seat to the nearside 'A' post. The splices between the CCM harness and the 'A' post harness corrode and create various electrical problems.

    Best,
    Frank
