The TDI has a turbo the SDI doesn't, the TDI will have much more power, but spare parts will be dearer.

Fuel economy is probably about the same.

You mean 50mpg I hope....it will do 50 mpg if driven like a grandad

Tdi driven in a mix of town and open roads 40mpg a bit less if a roofrack fitted Sdi about 2-4 MPG less cause you have the thrash the thing to get out of junctions ect.

It depends what you are using them for?

I you are going to be anywhere near the max weight or towing forget the SDI. Haven't driven the 140bhp one yet but the 104bhp can be a handfull in the wet so that would be interesting supposibly quicker than the Transporter Sportline.

I have a Sportline and test drove the 140 Caddy. The Caddy is quicker. Unfortunately not big enough for all my tools.

The best one to go for is the one that best suits your needs.I'd have a tdi if i wanted the power due to the weight i carried or if i did a fair bit of 60mph type driving. If i did a lot of town driving and light weight or was a relaxed driver i'd go for a sdi.You need to drive them both as well before choosing.Took a 140ps home the other night and was very carfull not to drive it fast-well not to fast........
