Audi will be stopping production for 5 days in Feb. The article from the business section on the BBC news site says;

Audi is to stop production at its main German factory for five days next month - it is the latest carmaker to halt work in the face of falling sales.
The firm, a subsidiary of Volkswagen, makes its A3, A4 and A5 cars, and Q5 sports vehicle at its Ingolstadt plant.
Audi also makes the main body work for its TT coupe and cabrio models at the factory, which employs 29,900 staff.
Most of the main carmakers have seen global sales slump due to the impact of the economic slowdown.
In the US, the "Big Three" car firms, General Motors, Chrysler and Ford, have been given access to multi-billion dollar state funds.
Meanwhile in Europe, both the French and Italian governments are now considering similar packages for their carmakers.
I don't think 5 days is too bad for a manufacturer. Considering VW closed for 3 weeks in Dec, most other brands such as Ford, Honda ceased for 1 month.
