Hey - i've had my golf for about 2 months and everything was fine after service, i was just told it may need a new exhaust which i may consider soon - but what i have noticed alot recently is the coolant alert keep bleeping so i check my level and its empty so i fill it with water - now this is fine except the past 2-3 days its been constantly beeping and constantly losing coolant, now i think there is a leak - can anyone tell me what maybe the problem and what i should do next - im scared it may be the radiator or head gasket and im a poor student lol - also if i should get it checked out where should i go? would kwik fit be ok? thanks guys

Get it pressure tested to find the leak, then fix the leak.
I wouldn't take my car to kwikfit, find a local VW specialist.

Pray it's the rad and not the head gasket. If it is the latter, you'll get mayo on your oil filler cap. That is an indicator that the gasket has gone, though not a 100% bet, as it can happen if the oil cooler goes too.
