    Hi everyone first time on,
Wanted to know if a cd changer from a 2000 beetle was compatible with the head unit in a 54 plate beetle, if so where does the changer fit into the 54 plate beetle and will the wiring plug be there.

    P.S.
the blue plug is there in the rear of the 54 plate beetle's radio and its a gamma radio dont know about the changer

took cd holder out of centre console and 12volt socket and found the cd changer connector in there plugged in the changer to try and hey presto it works. The boot floor pan is still the same with the bolt holes for the changer so cut off the plug in centre console extended all 10 wires and run them under carpet into the boot and fitted changer into the boot. Jobs a goood un. Works a treat.
