Just got myself a near mint mk1 jetta for £100

I will say first up I'm not showing off by telling my story I just wanted to share it with some people that might care. I told my girlfriend who said it looks stupid and I told my mum and she told me I had too many cars in the first place!

Well i picked it up on sunday and it's a cracker, it's a 1982 jetta gl 1600 in blue. It's totally complete with not a thing missing and even has the original tax disk holder and radio. Everything works and the bodywork and paint are amazing.

It drives really well and the engine bay is clean as a whistle! I couldn't believe my luck and when I saw the ad I just asked her how much she wanted and when she said £100 I nearly fell off my seat.

I have no idea what I'm going to do with it as I have never had one and never really thought of getting one either.

Any idea's for a few subtle mods?

Also if I stuck it on the ebay how much do you think I might get? I don;t want to do this but my daily driver is sounding rougher by the day and the morgage won't pay it'self.

You see bargins are still out there.

Not so subtle but i nice set of Porsche old school alloys and slamming it would look class
