newbe needs help with radio code

Hi all,

i'm the proud new owner of a 22bhp TT and I love it! Only down side is the stereo is in safe mode. I've spoken to the dealer I bought it off and he has washed his hands of it. Told me to go to audi.

I've found the serial number for the radio. Does anybody know where i can get it decoded. I fear it will cost me an arm and a leg at audi.

the serial number is AUZ5Z3Y0153550.

any help will be greatly reiceived, I live in Birmingham by the way.

Hi This can only be done (on-line) with the factory, by Audi

I went into Audi with the same thing. I bought some mudflaps while I was in, and they didn't charge me for the radio decode. They also gave me a printout of the diagnostic for future reference.

Thanks, went to Audi on the strafford road, Shirley today. They sorted it for me at no charge. They were very helpful
