Accident damage recorded

Hi

My car has been hit by a car in a car park and the damage to the front bumper is estimated at about £500. A lot for minor damage repair and re-align bumper I think.

If I use insurance will it be logged on HPI or whatever?

When i come to sell I want to be able to show it wasn't bad, so a photo may help but being logged as a accident repair may not be a good thing?

Is there a level before they are put on the register?

i don't think it would be recorded, a side impact,doors and pillars,yes perhaps but a bumper,
in a car park,i don't think so.
