can the broken cable be fixed took door panel off today after hearing a twang, when puttin up window. and looks a real git to get at.gsf ect are looking 64 plus the vat for regulator only, audi are lookin £59 plus vat breakers are looking £50 for complete door top, glass included,as a few have told me its a much handier job to do, rather than stripping the broken regulator out.think i may go down this route (complete door top).is this a common problem with regulators or just bad luck on my behalf??? also is it possible the b5 passat shape (new) regulator would do, they are £20 odd cheaper
